Studies Show Acai Berrys can fight Cancer and Leukemia

by Dr. Jerimiah Crossderd

There was a recent study at the University of Florida where
a popular fruit known as the acai berry showed that it
contains antioxidants that were able to destroy cancer
cells.

This study showed that acai berry triggered a self-destruct
response in up to 86 percent of the leukemia cells tested
according to the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry
where the results were published.

A abundant source of antioxidants which fight and prevent
harmful acai from entering the body can be found in the acai
berry.  This research has strengthened the hypothesis that
adding an acai berry extract can be very beneficial to the
human body.

Please note that this study was not to show hat the
properties in the acai berry can cure leukemia in humans.

This study was never intended to raise any false hopes that
the acai berry is a cure for leukemia.  The results are
still very positive however.  The human body has shown
promising results with compounds that have been tested under
the cell-culture model.

Antioxidants have not been directly proven to fight cancer
cells in the human body because of other factors such as
biochemical processes.  However, research has shown that
fruits such as guavas, grapes, and mango's' have
antioxidants that have been known to kill cancer cells as
well.

Acai berries is are perishable and must be eaten immediately
after picking. The process to preserve acai berries have
only been available for about five years, so researchers in
many parts of the world have had little or no opportunity to
study them.

Acai berrys are produced by a palm tree known scientifically
as Euterpe oleracea, common in floodplain areas of the
Amazon River. When the berry is  ripe, it is purple and
about the size of a grape. It's contained in a thin layer of
an edible pulp surrounding a large seed.

The local people of the amazon have been using the acai
berry to treat conditions ranging from skin disorders to
digestive problems.  recently, the acai berry has proven
helpful in loosing weight and lowering cholesterol.

For three decades, Dr. Jerimiah Crossderd has been
researching all of the wondrous benefits of the acai berry.
He has a detailed

free acai berry  website where he goes into detail about the
best acai berry products on the market today. He also has an
informative (http://acaiberryrus.com) acai berry website
that has daily information on everything that is related to
the acai berry
